Dr. Tiffanie Truong was born and raised in Oakland, California. She attended UCLA for her undergraduate studies, graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. She returned to the Bay Area to attend The UC Berkeley School of Optometry, where she received her Doctorate of Optometry degree in 2019. At graduation, she was presented with the prestigious Gold Retinoscope Award. Afterwards, Dr. Truong furthered her training, completing a residency in ocular disease and primary care at the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center in 2020. She began working at The Optometry Center after her residency, where she is able to provide high quality eye care for patients. She holds a strong interest in ocular disease and hopes to continue her involvement in academia in the future. In her free time, Dr. Truong enjoys working out, hiking, and reading.
