Dr. Mujda Zhublawar was born and raised in Kabul, Afghanistan. Her family moved to the United States in 1989 to escape the war and to have the opportunity to further their education. Davis for her undergraduate studies, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with a minor in French. Shortly after completing Optometry School, Dr. Zhublawar began a residency affiliated with U.C. Berkeley at the San Francisco Veterans Medical Center. The advanced technology and high-tech equipment of the VA enabled her to receive further training in managing and treating certain eye diseases, such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and post-operative cataract patients. She began working at The Optometry Center in 2006 and has been a great addition to the team. She is currently the owner at The Optometry Center.
