Dr. Angela J. Wong was raised in San Leandro, CA. She attended UC Davis and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences with an emphasis in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior. She then completed her Doctorate of Optometry degree at Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University.
Dr. Wong has a wide experience in working in a variety of clinical venues including the Veteran's Affairs hospital in Las Vegas, Indian Health Services in Lawton, U.S. Naval Hospital in Lemoore, as well as the University Eye Center in Fullerton. Prior to joining the team at The Optometry Center, she worked in a local ophthalmology practice for several years. She is also fluent in Cantonese.
She is glaucoma certified and specializes in specialty contact lenses such as ortho-keratology for myopia control and scleral lenses for keratoconus.
She is an active member of the California Optometric Association and American Optometric Association.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling, exercising, reading, and hiking.
